An Update on the Coronavirus Outbreak
Dear Lion Brand® Yarn Customers,
We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy during this time. In addition to the safety of our team, maintaining service to our customers is our top priority.
As you may be aware, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy issued a state-wide executive orderover the weekend directing residents to stay in their homes and non-essential retail businesses to close their brick-and-mortar storefronts until further notice.
In accordance with the governor’s announcement and out of caution for the health and wellbeing of our employees and associates, Lion Brand® Yarn Company will temporarily close our Outlet. During the closure, however, we will maintain e-commerce operations and shipments, as Governor Murphy’s order permits.
Our home office associates have been working remotely and are busy planning for upcoming initiatives and developing exciting new products. Our website and social media channels remain active and open, allowing you to continue to place online orders and interact with the Lion Brand® Yarn team.
We invite you to stay connected with Lion Brand® Yarn by tuning into one of Shira Bluementhal’s daily Facebook Live knitting sessions. Shira is Lion Brand® Yarn Company’s Brand Ambassador and the Founder of our anti-bullying campaign, #HatNotHate.
Please know, we are making every effort to keep our staff on site safe and at the minimum required to maintain operations. This may, however, mean that our shipments are fulfilled and delivered somewhat slower than normal.
We will continue to monitor the situation and any ensuing federal or state directives or status changes. We will update you as soon as our Outlet is back open and look forward to continuing to provide the crafting community with quality supplies and superior service.
